• We provide limited services to patients with adult congenital heart disease.

• Given the lack of full-time adult congenital heart disease specialist in Acadiana area, we take the responsibility to keep up with updated guidelines for management of adults with congenital heart disease and follow them for continued care.

• We have an advantage as our physician is trained in advanced noninvasive cardiac imaging which is what many of these adults with congenital heart disease need to properly diagnose their condition for timely intervention.

• We understand that these adults need a completely different approach for evaluation of their symptoms compared to other adults, for example, the thorough evaluation including proper review of the surgical and procedural history before suggesting medical management plans.

• We continuously work with Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart disease specialists at all our regional teaching hospitals for providing best possible care.
